Partially based on true events, this dramatic story is about
a Ukrainian family finding their own paths amid the Russian-Ukrainian war, loss, and the responsibility they bear to themselves and to each other.

ROMANTICIZING ROMANCE

In this provocative work physical violence in relationships
is shown through fogged gaze of a victim.
The ambiguity of the narrator’s words correlates with the ambiguity of the video sequence, where a woman describes how she feels about what is happening to her behind closed doors.
This experimental project aims to draw attention to the complex problem of domestic violence in Ukrainian society, with it being an issue for 72% of population.
